Alashan cashmere 7GG Crewneck sweater

¥99,000

The origin of this design lies in the sweaters once hand-knitted by people who were supplied with yarn and patterns by the Red Cross. While the original sweaters possessed a rustic irregularity due to the knitter's dominant hand, we have stripped away that unevenness and recreated the piece in cashmere with a refined, even stitch. Both sides are carefully joined, featuring the purl side of the jersey knit facing out. We have layered modern craftsmanship onto its historic roots.

Guided by a single-origin philosophy that values "where it was raised and how it was spun," the yarn was crafted by the prestigious Italian mill LORA & FESTA, established in 1885, using carefully selected downy wool from Inner Mongolia, spun into a lofty 2/27s yarn. The resulting sweater has an airy lightness and warmth. With repeated wear, the fibers will settle, deepening the characteristic softness and fullness of the cashmere.
